Tavernier’s Milestone Moment
Rangers captain James Tavernier is set to make his 500th appearance for the club – an incredible milestone for a player who has been at the heart of the team since arriving in 2015. Tavernier’s leadership, attacking contributions, and consistency have made him a club legend, and the Ibrox crowd will no doubt give him a hero’s reception as he leads the team out once again.

Nsiala Set to Drop Out
After a tough outing last time out, Clinton Nsiala is expected to drop out of the starting XI. The 21-year-old has had a difficult couple of games and was substituted just 30 minutes into the last match. However, Rangers legend Barry Ferguson has backed the young defender, speaking to him after the game and emphasising his bright future. With only nine professional games under his belt, a short spell out of the lineup could help rebuild his confidence before he returns stronger.

Armed Forces Day at Ibrox
Rangers will also be marking their annual Armed Forces Day tomorrow, paying tribute to the men and women of the Royal Navy, Army, and RAF. The club and the Rangers Charity Foundation have a long-standing tradition of supporting the armed forces, having donated over £251,000 to veterans’ charities and providing additional in-kind support.
Over 150 armed services personnel will be in attendance for the match, with pre-match community engagement activities beginning at 12 noon in the Argyle Car Park. Fans can also enjoy performances from The Pipes and Drums of the Royal Corps of Signals, who will be entertaining supporters at Edmiston House from 14:00 to 14:30, as well as on the pitch at half-time.
Match Prediction
Motherwell will aim to make things difficult, but with Rangers back at Ibrox and key players like Danilo, Igamane, and Hagi looking sharp, a comfortable home win seems likely. The high press and energy in midfield should help Rangers dominate possession, with Tavernier undoubtedly eager to mark his milestone match with a big performance.
Prediction: Rangers 3-0 Motherwell
